The history of art remains a fascinating story. How did we evolve from prehistoric cave drawings to abstract painting?
In order to answer this, and many other questions, Caspar Martens will be giving an introduction to Art History in 12 sessions; from the earliest creations to the experimental art. Participants will receive a clear overview of the various periods and styles in architecture, painting and sculpture.
The publication ‘Eeuwige Schoonheid’ by Prof. Sir E. H. Gombrich will serve as guide for this course.
