In 2012 Landhuis Bloemhof organized the first taboo exhibition. Initiated by Duncan Campbell, then employed by Landhuis Bloemhof. Taboo I was an exciting group exhibition, with artworks inspired by different kinds of unmentionable affairs.
This year Campbell decided to do a sequel. According to Campbell Taboo I made certain taboos visible, but mostly in a general sense. Taboo II is all about the functioning of taboos. Keeping in mind that they can also have a positive effect.
Campbell selected an interesting mix of established, starting and amateur artists. Participants are: Ailsa Anastatia, Annemieke Dicke, Anna Oltheten, Andre Nagtegaal, Babette de Waele, Duncan Campbell, Ellen Spijkstra, Herman van Bergen, Lies Bruens, Marjon Wegman, Monique van Doorn, Maghalie George, Philip Rademaker, Rien te Hennepe, Ria Houwen, Rose Ann Ignacio, Susan Rudolf, Sinuhe Oomen, Tanya Haynes, Wigberto Lopez, Yubi Kirindongo and ZzTeam (Giovani and Philippe Zanolino).
The exhibition remains till November 26, 2015.
