The Exhibition
The title of the Exhibition Forma Obscura emerged from the project’s central exploration of form and shadow. Forma speaks to the presence of the human body—its shape, movement, and structure—while Obscura evokes concealment, mystery, and the interplay of light and darkness.
The project started with a simple idea of draping a model in a dress that blends into the background. Through careful layering and subtle tonal shifts, the human form is both concealed and revealed, abstracted yet present. As figures dissolve into their environment, identity flickers between seen and unseen, blurring the boundaries between figure and texture.
Forma Obscura explores this delicate tension between visibility and obscurity, inviting quiet contemplation on transformation, movement, and the poetry of concealment.
