‘Where Art Takes Root’
Opening: Thursday, June 26, 2025,
Time: 19:00 to 21:00
Location: The Curaçao Museum.
DJ Dorene Woodz will create a cozy atmosphere with her seamless mixes, to keep the vibe flowing.
The exhibition features sculptures that were created in the Museum’s beautiful garden by:
Maghalie van der Bunt-George
Marco van der Heijden
Erisa Dagelet-Espoza
Esmeralda Levens-Wijngaarde
Saskia Lans
Annie Clement
The sculptors will be at the opening to provide visitors with a more in–depth view of their daily life, how they started sculpting, an explanation of their process and what inspires them and their artworks.
Members of the group are pleased to exhibit their sculptures at The Curaçao Museum, which sees it as an absolute pleasure to provide this wonderful and positive group, The Sculptor’s Collective, with the platform to do so.
“We are very excited to be able to show our artworks to the public and have been working towards this date since May of last year in The Curaçao Museum’s garden. Each of us has their style and works with different types of stone and wood, and this exhibition will clearly show our shared passion for sculpting, which is a result of intensive collaboration in the artist collective that we form.”
The exhibition is on view until the end of September.
