Tirzo Martha: ‘Sustainable Art Communities’.
Tirzo Martha is a well known Curaçao visual artist. In his work he deals with Caribbean issues on politics, religion and culture.
He is one of the speakers at the conference ‘Sustainable Art Communities: Creativity and Policy in the Transnational Caribbean’ taking place on February 5 and 6, 2013,
The conference will be held at the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The conference is part of a two-year international research project led by Dr. Leon Wainwright of The Open University, UK and professor Dr. Kitty Zijlmans of Leiden University.
