Capricorne at Gallery Alma Blou
Visual artist José Maria Capricorne (Curaçao, 1932) is exhibiting at Gallery Alma Blou.
On the occasion of his 80th birthday filmmakers Tanja Fraai and Mike Ho-Sam-Sooi teamed up to make a documentary on Capricorne.
The movie premiered during the Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam, held in Curaçao from April 4 – 7, 2013. A week later Gallery Alma Blou honored Capricorne with an exhibit and the 2nd presentation of the documentary.
The artist himself could not attend the event, but the artworks and paintings displayed at the gallery were selected by Capricorne himself.
The exhibit at Gallery Alma Blou ends Saturday, April 27 2013.
