Machteld Solinger Lecture

Current Artist in Residence at the Instituto Buena Bista in Curaçao, Machteld Solinger is giving a lecture at Gallery Alma Blou on June 27, 2013.

Machteld Solinger (1986) was born in The Netherlands and studied at the AKV/St. Joost Academie in Breda. In the past months Machteld stayed at Instituto Buena Bista as Artist in Residence and also taught the seminar Abstract Painting to the students of IBB. In this part of the curriculum the students learn to observe and interpret their environment by looking at form, material, texture and color. The works made by her students were exhibited at the ‘End of the year’-exhibition on June 21, 2013.
