Mon Art Gallery: closing exhibition

After eight years Mon Art Gallery in the Renaissance Rif Fort will close the doors of its Rif Fort-unit on June 30, 2014. Till the end of this month art lovers still have the opportunity to visit the gallery and purchase a unique art piece. For this occasions all art works are attractively priced.
The kick of for the final exhibition took place last Friday, June 20, 2014, with a MonArtGoesNuts-happy hour.

Participating artists are:
Frits Adriaans, Herman van Bergen, Carlos Blaaker, Annemieke Dicke, Marcel van Duijneveldt, Ariadne Faries, Jan Gilbert, Nicole Hoogendijk, Ria Houwen, Michelle Meijs, Marie Lou Schoenmakers, Marlies Schoenmakers, Agnes Schoots, Carlo Wallé en Nicoline Winkel Querido.

Mon Art Gallery will continue as Mon Art Experience. Owner Daisy Casimiri is changing the concept of her business to a virtual art gallery on the internet and a more flexible approach with ‘pop-up’-exhibitions at different locations.

In the coming years we can expect the following projects by Mon Art Experience.

Mon Art Showcase: an online art gallery with attractively priced art pieces. The art can be bought and shipped world-wide.

Mon Art Pop-up Gallery: Temporary art exhibitions on different locations, local and international.

Mon Art Mobile: A mobile app, keeping you up to date on the available art in the showcase, participate in silent auctions and inform you on the next Pop-up exhibition.

Mon Art Projects: Special projects like The Cathedral of Thorns, a large art project by artist Herman van Bergen or The Rif Fort Museum.

Finally Mon Art Gallery refers to the words of well known American author Maya Angelou “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” These words are the essence of what Mon Art Gallery was and what she will continue doing in the future.

Curaçao Art is looking forward to the new Mon Art Experience and congratulates owner Daisy Casimiri and her team with this new endeavour.
