Dicke and Floor in Curaçao Museum
The Curaçao Museum in Otrobanda recently restored a painting from their collection by the renowned Dutch visual artist
Carel Willink (1900 – 1983), De Kluizenaar (The hermit).
On Saturday, August 5th 2017 two local artists
Annemieke Dicke and Hanneke Floor
will work in the museum and, inspired by this piece, will create their own version of Carel Willink’s hermit.

De Kluizenaar (The hermit) Portrayist Pilot Project
On Saturday August 5, 2017 The Curaçao Museum is launching their Pilot Project of The hermit in the masters chamber, from 10 AM till noon.
For this particular project the museum has invited a selection of portraitists. They will be working in the museum, creating their own free interpretation of Carel Willink’s artwork. The first two portraitists are Annemieke Dicke and Hanneke Floor. This project is conceived by Mrs. Verele Engels, daughter of one of the founders of the Curaçao Museum, Chris Engels.
