Marianne Cats is showing new work where she merges her passion for architecture and art through the dimensional effects she creates in her paintings.
The exhibition ‘Dimensioneel lijnenspel’ (Playful line dimensions) offers a variety of artworks made in mixed media, watercolors and acrylic. Her focus is on the historical aspects of Curaçao’s rich architecture. She has incorporated architectural remnants and remains into her artworks, creating surprising effects for the viewer.
Marianne Cats will be present on Saturday morning’s from 10 to 12 PM to work on one of her still “under construction” paintings. You are invited to come and see the progress and development of this piece.
