Walk like a Woman

On Friday May 24th, Galllery Alma Blou in Curaçao presents:

Walk like a Woman an exhibition of transformed shoes, by Reyna Joe.

The idea and vision behind this collection, is that each pair of shoes tells its own story. Every woman, whatever her path, has a pair of shoes revealing where she is at that moment in life.

Gallery Alma Blou gladly supports this creative expression of Reyna Joe. Shoes make women stand tall and are not only part of every woman’s basic attire, but also connects her to the ground she walks on.

In presenting the exhibition ‘Walk like a Woman’ during the Female Leadership Conference, Reyna Joe makes a statement by telling every woman that they are entitled to stand up for themselves.

‘Walk like a Woman’ is the pre-conference event of the Annual Female Leadership Conference in Curaçao celebrating its 16th edition this year.This exhibition is also a fundraising event to support educational aspirations of both male and female students.

Reyna Joe is a creative entrepreneur and author. She recently participated in the Curaçao Folk Art training organized by Gallery Alma Blou, supported by Reda Sosial.

Walk Like a Woman opens on Friday May 24, 2019 at 19.00 till 21.00 at Gallery Alma Blou and is free for anyone interested in the stories told by a woman’s shoes!
