Monique Harbers exhibits in artist lounge CNSJF

Sculptors Marco van der Heijden and Monique Harbers are excited and honored to showcase their sculptures and photography in the artist lounge and star rooms of the 10th edition of the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival.  

“We hope these works will leave a lasting impression on the artists and musicians of CNSJF, highlighting the power of our sculptures crafted from the stones of the ‘Tafelberg’. Monique’s photography captures the unique beauty, architecture, nature, and diversity of Curaçao,” says the artistic duo with pride.

Monique Harbers also presents a new series of nine black-and-white photographs of breakdancers in Medellin, Colombia, created especially for this exhibition in August 2024. The series adds a dynamic hip-hop vibe to the exhibition and is displayed alongside her photos of Curaçao.
