In Rumbo i Raís, Curaçaoan multidisciplinary artist David Paulus turns his gaze towards Curaçao, its people, its histories, and the cultural memory carried from one generation to the next.
One hundred works
More than one hundred works bring together portraits, mixed media and three-dimensional creations inspired by people whose lives, families, work and presence are part of the fabric of Curaçaoan society.
Historical legacies meet contemporary voices. Personal memory meets collective history. Familiar faces and family connections emerge alongside words, expressions, stories and cultural references that have traveled across generations.
