Ruud and Inge Janknegt spent 30 years collecting ethnic art from Oceania. Part of their collection is now exhibited at Landhuis Bloemhof. On Wednesday evening Ruud Janknegt will give a lecture with a power point presentation. Ethnic art is closely connected to the ancestry, gods and spirits of a community. Ruud Janknegt will explain the story and symbols of the various pieces in the current exhibition ‘Oceania’.
