Wan Li Ya is a world renowned visual artist from China. In between the opening of an exhibition in Lima on April 19th, and traveling to the USA for his next exhibition, Wan Li Ya is making an Art Stop in Curaçao.

Nicole Henriquez, curator of Landhuis Bloemhof, met Wan Li Ya a few years ago during her art trip to China and has since kept in touch with him. As the artist was really curious about the island he decided to make a stop over for a few days, before continuing his journey.

During his short stay Wan Li Ya agreed to share some insights into his world of ceramics and painting. Landhuis Bloemhof is proud to invite every one to this special presentation by a very special international artist.

On Saturday April 23rd Wan Li Ya will speak about his 20 years of experience in creating art in China.
