For the celebration of the tenth anniversary of Instituto Buena Bista (IBB), Kunsthal Rotterdam will organise a summer exhibition and studio for talented youngsters in the Netherlands titled ‘All You Can Art’.
The exhibition will include existing artworks and artworks in progress by the founders of IBB, David Bade and Tirzo Martha, as well as works by various international artists from the collection of the IBB.
Works by IBB alumni, clients of the psychiatric clinic Capriles, a selection of works from the collection of the Curaçao Museum, Landhuis Bloemhof’s gallery, and the Engels family will also be on display in the Kunsthal.
The studio, which is also a part of the exhibition, will provide space for 30 talented youngsters who will receive education and guidance by artists according to the age-old teaching style of master and apprentice.
The public will be able to witness the activities and even participate in certain events.
Last but not least: IBB will also show face during the famous Summer Carnival in Rotterdam.
In this context, Emily Ansenk, director of the Kunsthal Rotterdam, will visit Curaçao to meet the island and IBB. During this visit she will also give a presentation at IBB that shall take place on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 19:00.
