2020 Extremo
The Curaçao Museum announces the opening of the exhibition:
“2020 Ekstremo, Pa Koroná e Obra”
Date: Thursday, February 18, 2021
Time: 19:00 to 21:00 hrs.
Bianca Berends, Herman van Bergen, Carlos Blaaker, Yubi Kirindongo, and Evelien Sipkes will showcase their latest artworks in this exhibition. 2020 was an unprecedented time for everyone, including artists and the local arts sector. The displayed pieces reflect how these artists were impacted and influenced by issues such as COVID-19, Black Lives Matter, social distancing, autonomy, #MeToo, and climate change.
The opening will take place in the open air in the museum’s Sculpture Garden. The exhibition will be on show till March 31, 2021
