Ora Solo ta Baha
with paintings by Bernadette Vieverich (1962) of the sunset in Curaçao, inspired by the song “Atardi Kòrsou ta bunita”.

Bernadette made a painting for each sentence of the song, reflecting all the colors of the Curacao sunset. She lived in Curaçao from 1966 to 1981. The exhibition is dedicated to her mother, Lies Wienk (1939-1980), and shows a selection of Bernadette’s artworks over the past five years.

‘Atardi’
When musician Rudy Plaate (1937) launched ‘Atardi’ in 1973, it became so popular that many people now consider it Curacao’s unofficial anthem.
