Color Me Nature is a solo exhibition of vibrant abstract mixed-media paintings in which the artist connects to nature. The exhibition will open on the 19th with a special evening beginning at 7 pm. and ending at 9 p.m.
Alexine’s daughter, Caitlin Heide, will give the first speech, followed by Eva Breukink, who will recite a poem. Landhuis Bloemhof is looking forward to a memorable celebration of art, family, and the serene beauty of nature, as captured in Alexine’s unique work.
Alexine’s Journey
Alexine’s artistic journey started with a private commission in 2011. Since then, she has shown her work in several group exhibitions, including at Landhuis Bloemhof. Her pop-up solo exhibition at Hotel Botanica in Kura Hulanda in 2023 was well received and laid the groundwork for her current solo at Landhuis Bloemhof.
The Color Me Nature exhibition will be on view through Nov. 2, 2024.
