
“What the Quack is going on?”
Rubber ducks in charge of Bloemhof for just a little while.
Especially for the summer vacation of 2024, Landhuis Bloemhof came up with a community art project that will start on Saturday, June 29. The project, “What the Quack is going on?” begins with the opening of an art exhibition in which hundreds of rubber ducks participate.
Location: gallery at Landhuis Bloemhof.

The rubber ducks used for this project are Duck-Race-ducks from Rotary Club Willemstad, which are recycled in this way.

Participants in the exhibition “What the Quack is going on?” are Andre Nagtegaal, Avantia Damberg, Bea Moedt, Elodie Heloise, Esther Reyerse, Indra Carolus, Janet van Liempt, Josette Kölker, Junice Augusta, Karin Hermans, Kati Qui, Kim Russel, Lies Bruens, Loes Hak (Aloha Bonaire), Maghalie van der Bunt – George, Marianela Gonzalez, Margarita Haakmat, Miah de Sousa, Michèle Russel-Capriles, Mila Dorothea, Pamela Rusch, Ruthson Cecilia, Solaika Leito, Sonia Kuipers, Tanya Haynes, and Zatessa Gonzalez.
In addition, 35 women from Serena’s Art factory worked together to create an art piece.

From June 29 through August 4, everyone is invited to participate in the community artwork.
Tuesday through Saturday, between 9 am and 12 pm.
– Participation is free.
– If the painted duckling goes home with you, NAf5 must be paid for adoption.
