IBB ‘Junior-Senior’ Exchange Program
IBB Founders and students to FAU, Florida.
Artists Tirzo Martha and David Bade will be visiting FAU (Florida Atlantic University) next week in connection with the ‘Junior-Senior’ exchange program of Instituto Buena Bista (IBB) . Accompanying them will be two IBB students: Marichel Boye and Quinten Whyte. Together with the two artists they will visit the institute, give guest lectures and an artist talk.
IBB is investigating which institutes and courses in the region can become partners of IBB, and where students of IBB can continue their training in the near future. In 2012 IBB visited Barbados Community College and there are more exchanges planned to happen with them soon. Future guest artists of the Mondriaan Residency Program will also be encouraged to participate in these visits to partner organizations as guides for the IBB students. Thus giving guidance to the students who obtain valuable experience this way.
