Exhibition Machteld Solinger at IBB
Visual artist Machteld Solinger (Netherlands, 1986) is the current artist in residence at Instituto Buena Bista (IBB) in Curaçao. She studied at the AKV/St. Joost Academy in Breda. Machteld came to IBB in May 2013 and after 4 months is finishing up her sojourn with an exhibition.
During her stay in Curaçao Machteld has taught the course ‘Abstract Painting’ at IBB and given a lecture at Gallery Alma Blou. Her experiences in Curaçao as a teacher, artist and short-stay-resident are recorded in her blog.
Her closing exhibition at IBB will open on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 7 PM.
