Nick Whittle(1953) is an English born and Barbadian based artist. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Art at the Newcastle University. Whittle’s work has been shown both internationally and regionally in a variety of solo and group exhibitions. Highlights include Galerie JM’Arts, Paris and ACP House, Brussels, Cable Factory Helsinki, Finland; various CARIFESTA Festivals; and the Rundetaarn, Denmark and his last solo show at Zemicon and Queen’s Park Gallery in Barbados. He has also received several awards, including from the National Independence Festival of the Creative Arts (NIFCA).Nick hopes to provide guests with an elaborate insight in his work, both past and present, and give insight to how he goes to work and also share his views on his residency at the IBB.
