The exhibition ‘Vivid Delights’ by Curaçao artist Michelle Mesker will open on 

Saturday, April 30, 2022,
at 10:30 AM, 
in Landhuis Bloemhof.

Michelle is known for her colorful batiks, in which she depicts local nature, sceneries, architecture and madonna’s.  

‘Vivid Delights’ consists of a large collection of batik artworks, in various sizes. Some are enriched with subtly embroidered details. Each one of her exclusive pieces, is the result of many experiments and the experience that the artist gained over the past decades, working with the age-old batik technique. 

Mesker mastered the batik-technique and explored the limits of what was feasible, thereby becoming increasingly detached from traditional batik colors and patterns. ‘Vivid Delights’ shows Michelle Mesker’s craftsmanship, coupled with bright Caribbean colors.

The exhibition ‘Vivid Delights’ remains till June 2022.
