Location: Jewish Museum Curaçao (Hanchi Snoa in Punda).
As part of the celebrations for the 375th anniversary of Jewish life in Curaçao, the Jewish Museum Curaçao presents the exhibition ’10 Days with Perlman’, celebrating Suzanne Perlman (Budapest 1926 – London 2020), one of Curaçao’s internationally recognized artists. After finding refuge on the island during the Second World War, Perlman built her artistic career here, and the island remained a lasting source of inspiration throughout her life. Through her paintings, the exhibition reveals her deep connection to the island and its Jewish community.
The exhibition is realized with the support of Robert Perlman, Louis Perlman and George Perlman and the Jewish Caribbean Culture Preservation Foundation.
