An exhibition with no fixed rules, boundaries, or frontiers. Over 30 renowned and emerging artists and performers signed up, and Landhuis Bloemhof reports having had much fun setting it up. Visit Bloemhof and find out who is who and who did what.
Bloemhof explains that the Schots en Scheef-concept originated from a rebellious thought against traditional rules about art, the usual setup and layout of an exhibition, and how artists are used to presenting their work. By challenging artists and themselves to step out of their comfort zones and letting go of what is, or how it should be, space is created to allow a freedom that was not there before.
