With her unique style, Rose-Ann offers a lively take on life’s pleasures. She boldly uses pastel colors to depict her alluring and captivating subjects.
Joys of Life is Rose-Ann’s first solo exhibition at Landhuis Bloemhof, but over the years, she has exhibited several of her works at Landhuis Bloemhof. Her previous exhibitions at this gallery were group exhibitions, such as Taboo II(2015), Desaroyo (2016), Trickle (2019), Schots en Scheef (2021) and Sorry, … (2023). Landhuis Bloemhof noted that her creations always left a lasting impression on visitors. Her work is beloved within the Curaçao art scene as well as by audiences beyond.
The exhibition remains till January 4, 2025.
About the artist.
Born in Curaçao in 1991, Rose-Ann Ignacio has been passionate about art since childhood. Eventually, she discovered and developed her own style, which can best be described as Pop Realism. She creates her paintings to celebrate the perceptions of beauty, pleasure and personal expression while also pushing her own creative boundaries.
