Dynamics in Ceramics

Zanolino Gallery & Atelier in Curaçao announces the opening of Dynamics in Ceramics, an exhibition by Curaçao’s most talented ceramic artists.

The exhibition features work by the following artists: Annemieke Dicke, Audrey Elings, Ellen Spijkstra, Evelien Sipkes, Julie Kooijman, Krista van der Meijden, Len Gillen, Marjon Wegman, Marlies Schoenmakers, Militza Scoop, Robert van Haren and Salustiano Martha.

Each artist brings their unique style and perspective to the exhibition, resulting in a diverse and compelling collection of works. This show marks the first comprehensive ceramics exhibition in Curaçao in over a decade.

The collection is co-curated by Ellen Spijkstra, this year’s recipient of the esteemed recognition “Premio Cola Debrot”.

Gallery owners Ingenie Dammers and Giovani Zanolino elaborate that the show Dynamics in Ceramics presents a unique opportunity to experience the rich world of contemporary ceramic art from Curaçao. Through various forms, techniques, and expressions, the artists explore the relationship between ceramics, arts and culture, thus creating a dynamic and thought-provoking exhibition that will inspire and engage visitors.

The exhibition is set to run from May 20 to June 10, 2023.
